Vappu, or May Day, starts early at King Crab House and we celebrate on Saturday, when the long weekend is still on the upswing. This last day, our a la carte menu is available as usual, but in honour of May Day, we especially recommend our seafood assortment:
KING CRAB SEAFOOD PLATTER
King crab in 3 different sauces, pan fried king crab tail, blue mussels in a creamy garlic and parsley sauce, king crab caviar, pickled white fish, king crab cake, green salad, roasted potatoes and house capers aioli.
Champagne should be enjoyed at the same time. We celebrate the arrival of spring together, with the power of André Clouet Silver Brut for 60€/bottle (norm 94€). This 100% Pinot Noir works hand in hand with our seafood. A bold and generous champagne for Brut Nature, the bone-dry finish mellowed by the ripe-apricot character, plus hints of toast and melted butter. A well-balanced champagne that gives lots of pleasure and has entirely its own style. It also won the Finnish Wine Awards 2019 competition with the highest points. In this international level competition, wines were judged only on quality (not price).
