Experience the unique Ylläs-Levi cross-country skiing event in April!

Welcome to experience a unique cross-country skiing challenge Ylläs-Levi April 4-5, 2025 in Fell Lapland.  For the first time, the competition will be held over two days: on Friday, April 4, the race will be skied in the classic style, and on Saturday, April 5, the competition will continue with the freestyle event. The route follows its familiar path through the beautiful fell landscapes of the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, guiding participants through Ylläsjärvi, Äkäslompolo, Kukastunturi, and Pyhäjärvi, finishing in Levi.

The 70km race is a challenging and rewarding course with longer climbs and easier flats through the arctic birch forest. If you want an easier challenge, a course of 55 km is offered, starting in Äkäslompolo and leaving out the climb before Kätkänlaavu.

Western Lapland offers perfect snow conditions throughout the winter season, which makes it the perfect place to finish of your winter season. Both Ylläs and Levi are easily accessible by plane, train or car. Warm welcome!
