LEVI SKI RESORT’S INVESTMENTS CONTINUE YEAR-ROUND – LEVI BIKE PARK EXPANDS AND DEVELOPS
The development of Levi Bike Park is clearly reflected in the visitor profile, and the upcoming summer will bring even more diversity to the cycling experience with new trail improvements and an expanded bike selection. Additionally, a new Lappset Sisu Outdoor Gym will open in the Activity Park, offering summer visitors a long-awaited outdoor fitness facility.

The Development of the Bike Resort Continues
Levi Bike Park continues to evolve and will offer an even more versatile and smoother cycling experience in summer 2025 for riders of all skill levels.
The growing popularity of Levi Bike Park is the result of consistent development efforts. Last summer saw the opening of the new Hidden Forest Skill Park and the revamped Sunny South trail. This summer, the improvements continue, as the popular Santa’s Cabin trail receives new lines and features, making riding even more enjoyable. Additionally, a brand-new flow trail, Northern Flow, opens up to the scenic northern landscapes, offering a smooth and fast riding experience for cyclists of all levels.
“Our long-term goal is to gradually grow into an internationally recognized cycling destination. Our development continues this summer as we redesign our long green trail to make it more seamless. We aim to improve our operations by keeping the bigger picture of the customer experience in mind, offering excellent opportunities for riders of all levels to enjoy cycling in the fell,” says Marko Mustonen, Director of Business Operations at Levi Ski Resort.
Last year, a total of €300,000 was invested in the development of Levi Bike Park’s trails, and this year, an additional €200,000 will be allocated to further improvements. The Bike Resort concept will continue to develop in the coming years, and updates to the Activity Park area will support a more comprehensive outdoor and sports experience.
Conveyor Lift Attracts Families to the Bike Park
The newly opened conveyor lift in the Bike Park has significantly increased cycling's popularity, especially among families. The Hidden Forest Skill Park is now bustling with little helmeted riders, and beginner-level adults have also found their way to the trails.
“There are noticeably more families here – it’s clear we’ve made the right moves to promote cycling,” says Mustonen.
Levi Bike Park’s bike school operations are also expanding this summer, with the introduction of Werneri courses for children. These courses provide a safe and inspiring environment for learning the basics of cycling and developing skills.
“Werneri courses have long been part of Levi’s winter offering, and it’s great to bring this concept into the summer season as well,” Mustonen adds.
New: Lappset Sisu Outdoor Gym and the Levi Summer Pass
This summer also brings a brand-new Sisu Outdoor Gym, opening in the Activity Park. This outdoor gym provides versatile training opportunities in the heart of nature.
“Sisu Outdoor Gym complements the Levi Activity Park offering and introduces a new way to stay active for summer visitors. The gym offers space and equipment for both strength training and body maintenance,” says Mustonen.
Families have been asking for an easy way to explore Levi’s diverse summer offerings. In response, the new Levi Summer Pass is being launched this summer, offering even more benefits and activities for visitors. With one simple day ticket, guests can enjoy both the Bike Park and Activity Park experiences.
“The Levi Summer Pass has already been a favorite among summer visitors, and now we’re expanding its content to cover even more summer activities. This summer, the pass gives access to everything the Levi Activity Park and Levi Bike Park have to offer, increasing Levi’s appeal as a summer destination,” Mustonen adds.

Summer Investments – Also Benefiting the Winter Season
Levi’s development isn’t limited to the summer season. During the summer, significant investments totaling €4 million are being made to improve the winter offering as well. The resort will enhance its snowmaking capabilities by constructing a new water pipeline from the Ounasjoki River to the fell. This will further improve snowmaking efficiency. The Levi Glacier snow storage area will also be expanded during the summer, ensuring a better season start with stored snow. The popular South Slopes of the fell will be upgraded as well, with new automated snowmaking systems and LED lighting. The expansion of the South Slopes’ parking area will also continue.
“Our goal is to improve Levi’s year-round offerings and make the area even more attractive both in summer and winter,” Mustonen concludes.
