Seven tips for the slopes of Levi

How to get more out of your skiing day on your Levi holiday!

1 – Head to the slopes first thing in the morning

It's a good idea to start skiing first thing in the morning when the lifts open. That way, the slopes are sure to be in the best condition and you'll be the first to enjoy them.

2 – In bad weather seek shelter in the forest

Levi has a wide variety of skiing all over the fell. Shelter from the wind or low visibility can be found on forested slopes. This allows you to ski basically every day of your holiday.

3 – Ski around the whole fell

With the right knowledge, you can ski around the entire fell. Between the slopes of Levi there are really good opportunities for offpiste skiing. You can found easily reachable powder snow almoste everywhere.

4 – Pay attention to adequate breaks

In the coldest temperatures, take advantage of the old adage "a cup of hot chocolate an hour keeps the skier on the slopes". Remember also leave room for after ski when thinking about the rhythm of the day's skiing.

5 – Remember to enjoy the day

To get the most out of your lift ticket, get on the hill, ski the best hours of the day, take enough breaks and enjoy what you can get out of the day in that weather. It's good to remember that Levi is also full of opportunities in bad weather, with a wide range of other services.

6 – Try ski touring too

I highly recommend trying ski touring in Levi, i.e. skinning uphill along the marked trails. First during the day, but also in the dark with a headlamp. The atmosphere is really unique.

7 – Make the most of the last hour of the day

In my opinion, the best time in Levi is to ski the Front Slope from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., no other people and you get a really good warm up for the the sauna.
