World Cup Levi, the alpine skiing World Cup slalom season-opening event, celebrates a significant milestone this year as the event marks its 20th anniversary.

The exhilarating World Cup Levi event shines even brighter in its anniversary year: promising enchanting Lapland magic and a grand sports celebration for three full days in mid-November. The 20th anniversary represents the long and successful history of World Cup Levi, making it one of the most esteemed alpine skiing events globally. This year is no exception as we eagerly anticipate world-class sports and palpable excitement, offering unforgettable moments for both sports enthusiasts and spectators visiting the enchanting landscapes of Levi.

"We are extremely pleased to once again offer World Cup races for both women and men in Levi's famously excellent conditions. Bringing back the men's race to Finland and Levi is a victory for the entire skiing community, combining Levi's investments in conditions, experienced organizing committee, and good dialogue with the FIS. The races provide unique tourism marketing for Finland and Levi, and for the sport's federation, the event is the best possible platform to promote our sports culture," says Janne Leskinen, the Secretary-General of the races.

Known for its snow reliability, the Levi World Cup has succeeded in providing guaranteed conditions for both athletes and spectators thanks to the recycled snow. This winter, Levi has enjoyed an exceptionally long season, with the first snowfall occurring in October, and snow still plentiful well into May, Leskinen continues.

Early Bird tickets will go on sale on May 9th.
