Experience the real Lapland in off-grid lumberjack cabins, just 35 minutes from Levi. In spring, you can reach us also by skiing or snowmobile, and in summer by bike.
Aakenuspirtti Cafe and B&B is open seasonally. We also offer meals and group dinners in a cozy, authentic lumberjack setting or in a Lappish kota, teepee. Our delicious homemade food is made of local ingredients and wild herbs.
Relax in our traditional sauna and take a swim or an ice dip in the beautiful River Aakenus. Book a private sauna or join our public shifts during the spring. Our sauna fits 15 people.
As a locally-owned and operated retreat, we host private groups year-round. Our summers and autumns are great for fishing, trekking and foraging. With no streetlights around, the skies are perfect for stunning displays of the Aurora Borealis. We offer activities like snowshoeing, ice fishing, yoga, art and wild herb classes. Our seasonal yoga sessions are open to everyone.
Our cabins can accommodate up to 50 guests, though smaller groups are always welcome. It´s the ideal spot for private getaways, yoga retreats, or special events.
