Sound bath

Part of the "Kotatulet" program

21.9.2024 | Well-being, Culture and entertainment, Families

A Sound Bath is a deeply relaxing moment of rest for the body and mind. In the session, you lie down comfortably under a blanket and let the vibrations of sound provide holistic care. Tibetan hand-forged singing bowls, Koshi chimes, an ocean drum, and a rainstick are played during the session.

The Sound Bath relaxes muscles and the nervous system, activating the parasympathetic nervous system and thus calming the entire body and mind. The vibrations on the body lower blood pressure and guide brain activity toward a state of rest.

Please note that this practice is not suitable during the acute phase of cancer/treatments, if you have a pacemaker, or if you have arrhythmias. Placing the singing bowl on the body is not recommended if you are pregnant.

"Kindness, joy, self-awareness, and appreciation of life and myself are things I feel I have found through yoga, and these are the things I want to pass on to others in my yoga classes. Yoga and sound baths take us on a journey to get to know ourselves through silence and listening, helping us to relax, find balance, and restore our connection to ourselves."
